As was told to me yesterday by a long-time litigator, the law is not only a jealous mistress, she can be a lethal one.  Peace, quiet, a moment of serenity, the opportunity to breathe and listen are not often part of the litigator's (or litigation consultant's) lifestyle.  But we can adjust that.
